Rettich Wins National Class Championship with Alliance Autosport
Alliance Autosport with Scott Rettich behind the wheel, finished out the 2013 USF2000 National Class season on a high-note, picking up another pair of wins at the Grand Prix of Houston, clinching the USF2000 National Class Championship.
Rettich, of Camden, Ohio, started the weekend off strong by winning the first race of the weekend from the pole position. Strong rain showers fell shortly before the start of race two, which made the challenging temporary street circuit even more difficult. Rettich ran a consistent fast race in the treacherous wet conditions and picked up his 11th win in as many starts to close out the championship-winning season. Later that evening at the USF2000 banquet, Rettich was also awarded the Tilton Hard Charger award for passing 65 championship cars in 11 races.
“We had a great time in Houston,” stated Alliance Autosport driver Scott Rettich. “The bumpy temporary street circuit certainly presented us with set-up challenges, but we were able to develop a very good set-up for both the dry and wet conditions. I would like to thank my team, Alliance Autosport, and my partners and supporters PDI Communication Systems, Mazda, and Red Line Oil, who all helped us achieve a perfect 11 for 11 win record in USF2000 competition this season!”
